Ok, subject change, I suppose I have pretty much dedicated the journal I am working on to Oceanic or Aquatic Animals of some sort. In the spirit of that theme, I have decided to do a girl making a fish face. Now, keep in mind, I have never drawn/painted a fish face before and I found it way, way challenging (also my face kind of hurts from making the face in a mirror so I can sketch it out... yes, I really did. No, I will not video myself doing it...that it is disturbing... you just need to take my word that I did).
Kakko dog AKA my future possible canvas, has been having a great time coming to get me from my art table (since I raise the shades on the french doors and he can see the yard critters) so he can go outside and chase squirrels and birds with his trusty side kick, Kitsune. It is fun to watch the two of them stalk their prey, take off like a bullet and chase the squirrels up a trees or over the fence. Now, I know I would be super crushed if they ever did get one but the chances are very low for this dynamic duo. Thankfully, it is so fun to Kakko that he takes off barking (or sounding his version of a battle cry horn) loudly with no chance of a secret tsunami at all... They are hysterical and poor sweet Kakko is pretty clumsy. Ok, subject change, I suppose I have pretty much dedicated the journal I am working on to Oceanic or Aquatic Animals of some sort.
