As I got further into the painting I found I did not like what I was doing several times. I did not like her mouth, then I did not like her hair... bleh, I think most artist struggle with bouts of doubt and annoyance with their mediums. In the end, I was quite happy and I really liked the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote I found in my things so, I stuck it (kinda like the perfect landing at the end of the balance beam for gymnasts, only way less physical and sans tight leotard... If I do ever get a leotard though I am totally be-dazzling my name on it) down and decorated around it. Some how I seem to get so much into what I am doing that I miss steps in my photos but I am putting together a slide show to please your occulars... (what I call your eye balls).
This is "Louanne", named for a friend who told me of her middle name last night. I think it is cute and so is the whimsical girl I made to go with it.
