DOH! It is no mystery... I am impatient when it comes to letting paint or gesso dry and because of this, sometimes, I make big-ole fatty boo-boos. Today, I was affixing some ATC copies on to cardboard (to sturdy them up and help them seem more awesome than a copy normally would) and like always, I took out the heat gun and started zapping it dry. Every single thing was going as planned until... I spied a bubble under one of them (crapaliciousness those matte medium bubbles). So I pressed down on it with a piece of paper and well, as you will see a lot of damage was done (wahhhh!) As I put a layer of clear gesso over it I thought hmmm, maybe I can fix it. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED... I mean we all deserve a second chance right? After a bit of brain storming I decided I could use some modeling paste to fill in the craters I had made. IT WORKED but then I thought, why not just give her a complete clothing make over. Now, instead of having a copy of an ATC I have a whole new piece of art. Glad I did not trash her. Yea ME! KD 1 Big-Ole Fatty Boo-Boos ZERO!
